The Maker Behind the Magic
Hi! I’m Ashley, the maker behind Ash + Clay.
I’ve been a lover of arts and crafts my entire life. I remember my Mom *dragging* me to craft fairs in the Smokey Mountains and introducing me to the one-stroke painting techniques of the 90s. I loved making things with my hands.
I lost my Mom in high school, and in some ways, I lost the creative side of me too…until now. I’ve found my love for making beautiful things again and sharing that with my customers. I believe so many beautiful things are made from Ash + Clay; the parts of our story that have been the most tragic, can be made new again.
Ash + Clay is based in Nashville where I live with my husband and my rambunctious toddler, Deacon. I love laughing til it hurts, any excuse to host or be at a social event, playing Pandemic (the board game, not real life right now) and trying out new recipes on my dinner guests (like, why can’t I just stick with my go-tos).

Earring Care
Polymer clay is fade resistant and waterproof so they should last for a long time when proper care is taken.
Cleaning & Care
Simply use a piece of moist soft fabric and wipe it gently
You may also use a tooth brush with a soft bristle to remove dirt and dust on the earrings
Treat your clay earrings with care - if dropped or stored incorrectly your earrings may break or become damaged
When you are not wearing your polymer clay earrings, keep them in a clean, dry place - such as an earring board
Avoid contact with makeup, hair styling products and perfumes. The clay may stain if it comes into contact with these products.
Brass Findings
All of my earring posts and metal pieces are raw or gold plated brass. Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc and will naturally tarnish when exposed to oxygen. Tarnishing is actually a protective layer for the brass. Keeping it shiny is easy.
Polish using a jewelry polishing cloth. Brass cleaner can be used but sparingly. Apply a very small amount to a jewelry or microfibre cloth and clean gently.
To avoid tarnishing store in a dry space away from direct sunlight and air vent. Its best to keep in a jewelry box with a lid.

Please allow 3-5 business days hours for already stocked items to ship. For Custom or made-to-order, please allow up to 5-10 business days for your order to be shipped.
Returns
If earrings are damaged upon arrival contact me (ashley@ashnclay.com) within 24 hours and I will issue a refund. Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis. Earrings cannot be returned.
